We want to grow with you. CEFA is large enough to provide you with high technology services such as online balance check, but small enough to know you by name. Our management is not only available to provide for your banking needs but advise you as to the best way to manage your money so that you, our client, increases in prosperity.

History

CEFA was started by Georges Sangang and a group of private investors. Georges saw the difficult quality of life present in the rural zones and in the city. He observed that with even 5000CFA per week these people could become something but they had no means of getting that money. So Georges and a group of friends asked themselves how they could improve this sitation.

"We wanted to find a form to give credit to people who are more or less excluded from the banking system because of ignorance or difficult to access." (translated)

Georges and his group of investors were looking for a way to improve professional life in all sectors. In 2006, they started the process of creating a business plan and working through all the necessary forms. With all the forms and formalities finished, CEFA became an official microfinance organization July 2008.
